happy healing!

I made this card for my mother after she had surgery a couple of days ago. It was quick and totally last-minute but one of my favorites to date.

What I used:

• Autumn Leaves 4x5.5 in white card and envelope
• DCVW Citrus Matstack (yellow base on front of card)
• Cricut Florals Embellished cartridge for flower
• Scrappy Moms Everyday Greetings "Happy Healing"

goodbye to a friend

This past fall hubby made friends with the GTI guy at work. An Australian man who often introduces himself as "Dingo". It didn't take long for Dingo and hubby to hit it off. Bonding over beer, video games and electronics. There has definitely been a bro-mance brewing! Well soon we will be saying goodbye to this new friend of ours as he is moving back to Australia. I made him this card on behalf of hubby, cheesy I know but it works!

Looking at the picture makes me think i need to do something with the word "TRIP". I'll have to figure something out!
